SERVICES

Play Therapy and Art Therapy

Play Therapy and Art Therapy are very beneficial to children and youth of all ages. Children who have experienced challenges in their lives often do not have the words to accompany these experiences since they sometimes occur pre-verbally. Play therapy and art therapy provide a form of release and information. Often children get stuck and simply need a little assistance. That is where my services come in. We will work together to uncover what is preventing your child from feeling their best self.

Psychotherapy

Sometimes certain circumstances prevent children and youth from feeling their best and most unified self. This is where psychotherapy can be of great assistance. Psychotherapy services consist primarily of talk therapy, and its success depends on the relationship between the therapist and the child/youth. Through this work, the client and family will learn new strategies and coping skills that will assist with future life challenges. Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Loss, and Trauma are all areas that I am able to help your child move through.

Family Consultations/ Observations/Intensive     Support

There are occasions when the dynamics within a family system are quite complex, and they require a certain amount of unpacking by a professional. That is where my services come in. With an excellent partnership, we can work together to bring your family from a place of dysfunction to start healthy new habits and alight upon a path of wellness.

Part of the therapeutic process is observations. these can be excellent information gathering sessions to assist in beginning the process of making positive change within the home. I offer these support services.

If an individual is experiencing really intensive needs, I am often able to provide a more intensive level of support with more frequent sessions than the customary once a week. Reach out and let's see how I can be of assistance!
